Boss is still not getting vaccinated despite fully believing that it works,covid is real and serious,and all the other PRO vaccine talking points. It's extremely frustrating as his entire basis is because his wife had antibodies during a random blood test so he assumes he's had it and is good.

Meanwhile a guy from my high school (aka the same age as me and my boss) is on a ventilator in an ICU right now because he never got the shot and a co-worker had a friend in his 40s die from it after getting it a second time...

My brother also fully believes the vaccine works, but hasn't got it because "he doesn't see anyone" despite going out to eat and to the gym. He said he's waiting to get the best incentive bonus since they seem to be increasing and increasing incentives.

My wifes work (a vet clinic) is having trouble getting ivermectin because of all this bullshit. It is on backorder. They use it on smaller animals too not just horses. They are also starting to see PPE go on backorder/be difficult to get again.

Started a new job this week in a covid lab (among other things). Second day on the job and a coworker already popped positive fml lol.

She is apparently mildly symptomatic, droopy eyes, low energy, etc, which I just took as her RBF but nah she's got the Rona lol. Also saw a child who was positive, with the same droopy eyes and low energy demeanor, so now that's all I look for in strangers haha

Been a while since i posted, but I lurk. Just happened to have something bizarre enough to happen to post.

I work as a nurse in the ICU and all but one bed in both the ICU and PICU are Covid related. The wife of one of our patients did a Mission impossible to smuggle Ivermectin pills to her husband who was on BiPaP 100% oxygen and barely holding at 90% O2 saturation for a week. He was going to be intubated on his next O2 drop. Long story short, the wife runs into the ICU (no locked doors) takes off the BiPaP and forces the pills into his mouth which basically overdosed him and killed him an hour later along with the strain of everything else going on. Now manslaughter charges are being brought up. She was screaming how we were just keeping him sick to make money off them after she was caught.

It's fucking crazy here.
