Well, if that's the argument, then those pathologies don't really necessitate the resource allocation we see here.
As I said, I don't think cutting off care for these people is what really needs to be done. Just make vaccines a requirement for any government assistance. The patient population we see now are typically low income and underinsured. Many seek financial help after discharge, even if they're insured. Medicaid will backpay. If they're already on Medicaid or Medicare, make them get vaccinated. Will save the government money from prolonged hospital admissions in high levels of care. Make them get vaccinated or face bankruptcy. I'm 100% ok with that. There's too many gray areas with withholding care and the triage decisions can be rather complicated.
What if you just treated people that needed help like you signed up to do instead of dreaming up ways to discriminate against people ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But you do understand now that they can't treat people that need help right? It's coming down to who they can and can't save.
You guys are acting like these are policies that might be put in place... because someone on BG posted it...
empathy and compassion, pretty terrible traits to have
Bitch you just straight don't know me or my situation. You're a doctor literally making shit up about me to justify your position. Just stop. You can just disagree with me, that's okay. You don't have to make up nonsense to justify it though.
My wife nearly lost her fertility because of unvaxed fools, full stop. How many people actually lost their fertility cause hospitals were overcrowded? How many people died cause they couldn't receive non covid related care because the hospital was full with unvaxed cases? Get the fuck out of here with that, these are real people with real problems trying to figure out what's best for them and their community. What's best isn't letting unvaxed people crowd hospitals until the end of times, hoping herd immunity will eventually be enough.

Plot twist: the vax caused your wifes problems
a lot of doctors actually do not simply because there isn't much hard data on it. i know because a friend of mine is in this exact situation and her doctor specifically told her to wait and we're talking up in here canadia where 80% of the population is vaxxed and it's not as much of a hot button topic
She could just get a new parasite after the first one fails.
