a lot of doctors actually do not simply because there isn't much hard data on it. i know because a friend of mine is in this exact situation and her doctor specifically told her to wait and we're talking up in here canadia where 80% of the population is vaxxed and it's not as much of a hot button topic

Maybe the obstetrics and gynecology societies in Canada are different, but every major College and Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology in America recommend the vaccine.

Podiatrists don't go to med school. Hand surgeons do. Presumably if they're Ortho surgeons. But foot doctors don't. I don't really know nor understand the history of podiatry.

After you finish residency you'll be consulted and referred to unless the ED physician or whoever needs you to the patient for inpatient or outpatient psych care and usually if the psychiatrist isn't available they just go through the social worker.

Your few months of working in IM definitely isn't enough to make you proficient in procedures nor give you the confidence to do them when you're years removed from those operations
