The "we must do everything possible to save as many lives possible" crowd here turned very "fuck you, I got mine" when the idea of imposing mask mandates for everyone, including those who were vaccinated, was being revisited due to rising cases and hospitalizations, primarily driven by the unvaccinated.

Shitty wages and unaffordable health care doesnt affect these people, "fuck you, I got mine". Now they're inconvenienced, and its worth protesting.

The state appointment portal. Had to drive 5 miles/30minutes to a pharmacy. Meanwhile the rite aid and Ralph's are like 3 minutes away from home.

iirc, guy lives in LA (atleast I think he's a Kings fan). I could believe that, depending on time of day and what not. Places with a large heavy population density could really take that long for a short distance.

I'm not even in the worst part of LA traffic. God forbid I never have to go to West LA from the valley in rush hour. Now that's just terrible. I know people leave prior to the rush, sit in their car for an hour, then clock in than deal with that awful clog.

Also those 5 miles were on local streets.
