Don't forget that the bus routes recently got updates so it's fucking up everyone's routine.

Mass transit fails when it doesn't meet frequency of stops, reliability (timing), density of service, and safety.
Frequnecy of stops meaning both distance between stops and intervals of busses/trains (ideally you should not wait more than 5 minutes for another ride).
Reliability meaning you are confident that a transit stop will arrive on time with seats available, and that it will get you to your destination when you expect.
Density of service meaning there are enough people served in a given radius (1/4mi for walkability) and has proper destinations (work, office, retail, shopping centers, transfer transit hubs, etc).
Safety of course meaning how safe you feel going to, waiting, and leaving a transit stop.
There are other factors but so many American cities can't meet these needs due to the epidemic of sprawl, even city sprawl. Sure you can have a train serving major city corridors, but if it only shows up every 30-40min then why bother in case you miss it.
I was scared to take transit during the early pandemic, but now the trains are almost near pre pandemic capacities and the spread is still very minimal even with Delta (everyone wears masks). Still riding my bike nearly every day because I gotta shed these lbs.
Jason Momoa has tested positive while filming the new Aquaman.

Think of the positives, now he gets to be showered with praise and admiration by antivaxxers while furthering hesitancy in the community
Oh wait sorry that's actually fucking terrible
Maybe it'll mend race relations between the antivax nazis and the black community.
Or maybe Cube is vaccinated and this is all just a long game to kill off the antivaxers.

Wild how the most Biden counties shot out to such a huge death lead (NYC counties leading the pack) and then almost completely recovered to being among the lowest.
As I've said before, my primary interest in how the death tolls have varied between ideologies is going to come from how it affects the 2022 elections.
