I have a skip-level employee who thinks they can get a religious accommodation and hasn't quite caught on to the fact he's going to lose his $190k/year job if he doesn't get the jab. It's not gonna be a great month.

Federal contractor date been pushed back to January 4th.
That's also the date any employer with >100 employees and any healthcare facility that accepts cms funding must require vaccinations. Although, the OSHA requirement for employers that aren't healthcare facilities, can opt out by testing weekly and wearing a mask at all times. Healthcare employees can not. They must be vaccinated.

I'm ready for work drama. Gonna be juicy af. We have a few new employees that left other facilities that mandated vaccines because we did not have such a mandate. Now they have no where to go.

I am wondering if it'll apply to 1099 workers that work remotely and don't bill CMS.

MyTurn appointments and pharmacies/stores/Kaiser should be ready to set up appointments by the end of the week. Otherwise you will need to call around to see if there are any walk-ins available. Part of the hold up is getting the orange capped Pfizer doses to the vendors.

I'm expecting the next 2 weeks to have a massive uptick in doses dispensed in California. So many parents were waiting for the EUA.
