My coworker got Pfizer 10 months ago. His PCP called him in to get a booster. afaik he doesn't have any long term health issues and is in his 30s.

Anyone 18+ with any of the symtoms on this list are considered high risk and should get a booster according to the CDC. Overweight? (thats...75% of all americans?) get your shot. anxiety/depression? Welcome to living in 2021. Get your shot. Besides, effectiveness craters at the 6 month mark.

It's pretty amazing, especially to hear this shit knowing people who work in different parts of the government and working it in myself...everything takes fucking forever to get rolling and has to be redone a few times here and there. They give us way too much credit....while at the same time yelling about how government is a waste and can't do anything right.

My office has began its return to office procedure and looks like I'm on the chopping block unfortunately. Sucks even more since they have a strict mask mandate when you're anywhere but at your desk.

With that said anyone know any good face coverings that it's easy to pull up/down to cover my face?

I love my Florida Panthers mask, but you probably don't want one branded like that lol. Second mask I enjoy more than the disposable ones are Old Navy brand masks, they just fit well and are the second most comfortable ones I own.

I don't like regular disposable masks with the blue/white sides. I prefer N95 masks cause they're more cushioned with fabric, making it a better fit around the nose area. I don't get glasses fog when using N95.

Yeah I'm not a fan of those disposable ones either. I try to avoid disposable anything. However the cloth masks I had accidently took a trip in the dyer and really fucked up the elastic.

I was looking around for neck gaiters but I can't find any and the last one I tried was way too snug and hard to get over my head. And when I did felt tight around my nose

I got these cloth ones from Hanes, no elastic, all cloth, just some metal in the nose bridge.

And the face portion is double layered cloth.

Apparently neck gaiters are worse than using no mask at all, or at least that's what scientists were saying a yearish ago when they started popping up. Idk if that info has changed tho, and I guess it doesn't matter if you're vaxed and just participating in covid theater.

I am required to use disposable 3-layer cloth surgical masks that work provides. I use a shoelace through the earloops and loop the shoelace around the crown of my head. Fits well enough. I do have a big head - XL/7 5/8" if I get a fitted cap - so sometimes I snap glue holding the loops to the mask if I don't give the shoelace enough slack.

I pull the mask up to my forehead if I'm going to blow my nose or take it off entirely while eating.
