Indictment charging NATHANIEL CHASTAIN, a former product manager at Ozone Networks, Inc. d/b/a OpenSea (“OpenSea”), with wire fraud and money laundering in connection with a scheme to commit insider trading in Non-Fungible Tokens, or “NFTs,” by using confidential information about what NFTs were going to be featured on OpenSea’s homepage for his personal financial gain. CHASTAIN was arrested this morning in New York, New York and will be presented today in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said: “NFTs might be new, but this type of criminal scheme is not. As alleged, Nathaniel Chastain betrayed OpenSea by using its confidential business information to make money for himself. Today’s charges demonstrate the commitment of this Office to stamping out insider trading – whether it occurs on the stock market or the blockchain.”

When I was working at Blockbuster, my manager told me I had vacation time that had to be used. Since my birthday was coming up, I requested the weekend and a couple days before and after. She goes and ignores my time off request, the request she told me I had to take. Fine, schedules are out early enough, I can push my birthday back a weekend. Next week, she honors my time off request but still schedules me for inventory: friday and saturday night midnight to 4am. "oh, theyre not standard shifts, so I can schedule you for them even if you booked off. If you can't make it, you'll have to find your own replacement". Who the fuck is working midnight-4am?? I never bothered looking for a replacement and I no-showed. I got written up for both days.

A couple months later, she refused to give someone else time off to partake in an annual family vacation. We were closing together one night, both rather unhappy with the store manager's treatment of their staff, you can figure the rest out lol.

God I miss Funco Land. I still remember being like 13 and feeling super thrifty, had a Game Informer coupon that gave an extra $2 per trade item, traded in prolly 100~ different NES, SNES, Genesis games and funded my new games for PS2. I bought Warriors of Might and Magic as my first purchase and completely hated it lol.
