Vegas needs to get 4 of 4 points against Chicago and St Louis. While they should win against Chicago, that Stl/Min matchup is absolutely coming down to the wire. I cant imagine St Louis risk giving up home gridiron advantage just to give players a night off.

How has Nashville not clinched though? What am I missing here? They have 95 points with 35 RW, 41 ROW. Presuming Vegas finishes with 95 points and get two regulation wins, that will leave them with 35 RW (tie) but only 40 ROW (Nashville takes tie breaker).

edit: nvm, NHL standings just updated and show Nashville clinched. I didnt see anything on the Nashville page about clinching.

Nashville started their game before the Vegas game. If they got 2 points, then Vegas's result is irrelevant to them clinching. Since Vegas only got 1 point, then Nashville's magic number on the night became 1.
