I love how clearly you can see that the creators for this are showing their love for Grant Morrison era stories and all the MvC references.

It looks like it's where this is going. I never liked the Planet X story though. I thought it was very out of character for Magneto.

Marvel retconned the shit out of that story line to the point that it wasn't even Magneto anymore.

But said retconning was done by Chuck Austen so it ended up so much worse

Nothing like still frame cliffhangers that makes you feel like you're reading a comic book and waiting patiently for the next issue.

Fucking knew it (although most people knew they'd do it). I figured they would substitute Rogue for Colossus given they swapped Magik's death with Gambit's. I guess that means next episode the focus will be on keeping Wolverine alive (though Jean isn't there so I don't know who is going to help him, maybe Rogue will take Mag's power and hold Logan together), Rogue or Roberto will help them escape, and Asteroid M will fall again.

The big question is how Gold Team gets the drop on Bastion since Morph no longer has the bracelet, Jean is fighting Cable off, Beast is held, and Storm/Forge are dealing with the Sentinels. Man the suspense is killing me. What would make jaws drop is Apocalypse coming to the rescue and Gambit being resurrected as Death (come on you know it has to be coming) or maybe Bishop helps? How are they going to get out of this?

Also did anyone else catch the intro changed civilians to Prime Sentinels??

Bishop is Jean and Scott's son?

Yeah. I think you mean Cable. In the comics, Nathan (Scott and Madelyn’s son) is infected and taken to the future, and cloned. They end up being able to save Nathan, with about 1/2 his body becoming cybernetic. He is raised by a time traveled Scott and Jean, and becomes Cable. The clone is kidnapped as a baby and raised by Apocalypse, with the clone becoming Stryfe.
