There's something to be said for not explaining everything explicitly, but if you do your job at least some people should get it and you only have to confirm it.
For example, GotG 3 with understand Groot

Who didn't understand it? It seemed pretty obvious lol
What exactly? That Marlene had some vision? Sure
But the game doesn't make it that obvious that it's Aerith causing her or Cloud to see visions I think.
However, after googling I found that they already explained that in Ultimania too, so I wonder why they felt a need to revisit this
i forgot how dumb that scene is in narrative context. bitch there is a god damn steel plate about to hiroshima the entire suburbs i woulda forrest gump'd that kid over one shoulder like a sack of potatoes and yeeted ourselves outta there foh with this let me validate your slow ass child feelings we are boutta DIE molly coddling Aerith this is why zoomers vote republican smh
Yeah but how do you really feel about this game AG?
i liked it when that chick made Cloud bust from a hand massage
Way back when there were theories that Marlene might have some Ancient blood in her or something and I think at that point a lot of people leaned towards this scene kinda confirming that Marlene is somewhat special/unique. But now I guess it's just random peeps being 'sensitive'. Still kinda weird to go back and explain things like that so long after the game's been out, but I guess we're in Nomura-land so anything goes, lol
I think they made it clear in Advent Children that Marlene was sensitive to Aerith's presence

Yeah, and in the original game too. That's why the Remake scene was just additional fuel to the theories about her ancestry. The Twitter/Ultimania explanation however could mean they're not going that route, since now it's also Cloud who's sensitive to her and who knows how many other people will be. On the other hand, they could still go the Cetra route for her, while Cloud's sensitivity will be explained by whatever else they wish (Jenova cells/his previous iteration's connection to Aeris and so on).
It's just a rabbit hole with these things, better not go in too deep :D
U see, Aerith is simply the strongest reflection of Xehanorta. Each person sensitive to her are weaker reflections of Xehanorta. Eventually all the reflections will be in 1 place wherein Xehanorta will combine into the megazord Xehanorta to open the door to the palace of darkness where you'll fight her ultimate foil, Sephiroth aka Meganort. He already reclaimed his reflections in advent children so watch out he's pretty strong.
No point preordering a base game. Just wait for a steelbook or deluxe edition to go up first.
Sure hasn't been much news considering this is supposed to land early 2024. TGS and TGA is going to end up loaded.
Feb 29th release date, new trailer confirmed Cait Sith, Vincent, Yuffie, Red XIII joining as playable characters
Sephiroth too, in flashbacks
This honestly looks like it’s covering everything up to end of disc 1 in the original, it’s gonna be fucking huge
Mother...fucking...so much hype: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZXqcymx0CI
can't wait
more homoerotic dance sequences, let's go. sincerely, i laughed pretty hard at the honeybee inn part
OMG is that Cait Sith?!
Watching reactions to the trailer on youtube and man is Kujata really that non-memorable? Not one of the reactors has even mentioned him or reacted to him on screen in any way other than "what is that?" lol
