Well I did it, completely skipped fort condor and played on easy mode so I could breeze thru the story and it took like 4 hours lol I really was putting it off for so long for no reason, oh well. Pretty big curveball at the end with

Also side note. I uploaded my saves from the PS4 version to the PS5 version just to unlock a bunch of trophies for shits and giggles. Looking back on my saves from the PS4 version with saves from April 2020 kinda was sucker punch. I played through VIIR during the height of COVID when lockdowns and work from home were in full swing and it just took me back to just self isolating and playing vidya and shutting off all the craziness happening in the world at the time. I just hope Rebirth doesn’t have any world shattering events going on surrounding this release.

I just did this over the weekend. I enjoyed playing as Yuffie. The synergy mechanic was pretty decent. He certainly controlled a lot better than the AI teammates in FF7R who basically stood around like idiots.

I enjoyed the story bits and more Scarlett is never a bad thing. Also with the above spoiler, I had 0 idea who they were I thought it was

a reanimated Zack that Shinra was experimenting on, up until they showed his name. I never played Dirge so I had 0 idea at who either of them are or where they fit into the game/lore
