Fort Condor is a treasure that should be experienced. Does a great job of throwing you right back into that old mini game while modernizing it. Adds maybe 1-2 hours total depending if you get the hang of it, there's not many different opponents and IIRC once you get Assassin Board III you can quick build and overwhelm quickly.

ill probably give condor a go since I did the tutorial and it seemed interesting enough. but the other side stuff didn’t seem appealing to me. the side game where you have to break boxes for points (similar to the one in ff7r) annoyed me too much because i found yuffies attacks, especially the magic ones, a pain in the ass to control, so i just rushed to finish the game after that

if yuffies play style is the same in 7reb i will probably not play her when possible and just use my boy barrett for ranged shenanigans

edit: i also have no desire to do the new simulator stuff because i do not feel like playing through 7r again just to do the one added fight from beating intermission. the only fight i did was ramuh at the start

I felt iffy about her gameplay at first too, but after you learn her style she's so amazing and fun actually. She's one of my fav in general, so I can't wait to see how they expanded her kit in Rebirth

I'm kind of concerned what her kit means for everyone else. In Remake, elemental damage was so key to many fights. If you went into them with the wrong elements, you're pretty screwed, like Hellhouse. But here's Yuffie with access to all elements at all times. It just makes me wonder if she'll almost be a defacto "blind" playthrough character so you'll always have elemental coverage no matter what you need, or if other characters are going to get different elemental options so they too can ensure they're always useful.

I think elemental coverage will become less of an issue overall, seeing as there are double element materias in this. But yeah, either they'll add elements to other characters or her kit won't focus on elements anymore

I didn't learn how to do fort condor in yuffies story, just learned that the Ai can't defend against zerg strats and beat every opponent spamming attacks on their base before they could kill me
