Sony getting cheap? The exclusivity is only 3 months on this one vs 6 months on FFXVI and I think a year on the first one.

I mean with the news coming from MS this past week, who is really their competition? Nintendo can't run it, SE mostly passes the dregs onto Microsoft. Hell, even with FFXIV hitting, it's reportedly still required you have at least a Xbox Live or whatever the equivalent is to play online.

All that said, I'm on full blackout mode using spoiler protection on Firefox and won't be downloading the demo. I can wait.

So just gonna say, changes to the combat system feel fantastic so far.

Cloud is lvl 40 in the flashback, which feels weird. Wasn't he like lvl 1 in the main game? Are the characters all starting at level 40? I hadn't paid attention to what they have said about that, but it's gonna be interesting to see how they do the transition from the previous game.

Also didn't expect the flashback to be the very opening of the game. Guess the party made it to Kalm off screen

I can't Platinum Birth By Sleep Final Mix because of Ice Cream Beat.

Dunno if it's some form of lag (system to monitor), but I get wrecked when I'm pressing the correct button on the correct note/timing and it's so frustrating.

I wonder if Performance mode running at 60 FPS vs Graphics mode makes any difference at all for the minigame, I had mine on Graphics mode during it when I got the star rank and then ended up swapping to Performance mode after that for smoother combat.
