Maybe I'm naive but BG honestly feels like a fairly safe space for people to have respectable discussions without unmarked spoilers. I guess it depends on your definition of a spoiler; some get upset at the mere mention of a location, system, item/equipment, or general character that they haven't met yet. But generally speaking, I can't remember the last time I was reading a thread on BG for a game/movie/show I haven't gotten to experience yet and felt I was spoiled.

99% of the game data is on the install disc with a remaining 1% on the play disc, I assume for piracy reasons

Okay so

If you have data on your console from clearing FFVII Remake you start the game with a Leviathan summoning materia. If you have save data from completing Integrade you also start with Ramuh summoning materia. I don’t know if that was publicized elsewhere but a pleasant surprise

it’s honestly not a huge deal to me, I imagine the summons are likely available elsewhere, if not it’s not a huge loss overall

If you played remake on PS4 you can upgrade to the PS5 version for free and transfer data to the PS5 version

Then you just delete Remake if you want. All your trophies will come over to the PS5 version too

Also if you finished the demo you get some goodies and contrary to what SE said you still have to play through a portion of the flashback before it gives you the option to skip. Not a lot. But was a little confusing still, made me think I fucked something up somehow. You’ll get the prompt asking if you want to skip once you begin the climb to the reactor.

Why do you need to do anything except download the PS4 save data from the cloud?
