Is Nibelheim bugged for anyone else? I can't progress because I can't click on triangle to interact with anything

For what it’s worth people worrying about missing the summons with clear data. You will also start with Chocobo/Mog, Ifrit, and Shiva summoning materia regardless. So you won’t be left out completely. I do not *believe* those are tied to clear data, at least the game doesn’t make any mention of it.

Some of the triangle prompts are HOLD and the text can be really tiny, that might be your issue?

FYI gear works when the party member isn't currently in the combat party and materia still gains ap if equipped to them too. Getting double material procs from kupo charm even tho the char wearing it isn't in my main team

So materia and likely characters level up even when not in party?

Yep

Although technically they *are* there in combat. They are doing attack animations and stuff, it just doesn’t actually count their damage and you can’t control them.

If you go down in to red HP you can use a synergy move with your back line team members kinda like Marvel vs Capcom where they will briefly tag in and use a big attack and then bounce out again.

Thanks for that, was wondering about this myself but haven't checked yet. Will need to make sure everyone has materia slots filled out then when I go back to playing

Man, when that opening cinematic hit, I had graphics mode on and it was choppy as fuck, probably 20 fps lol. I immediately thought "I cannot play the entire game like this" luckily once I got in game it was far better, but Christ, PS5 limitations.

had limited playtime the last two days so only just got to the first grassland area outside kalm

i ran around the whole first map heading to the first checkpoint barn thinking I was clearing as much of the area as possible then they guy was like “head to this spot on the map”, then when i opened the map and saw the area was way the fuck south it was pretty clear this area is fucking huge and there’s gonna be a lot of shit to do if this is just the first area

Cloud and friends are just absolute menaces with breakable objects in the field and furniture in towns, my teammates and I keep running through and breaking stuff unintentionally and its hilarious I’m just walking thru an area and Barret and Red are just knocking everything over and crashing into stuff. I don’t remember that happening in Remake lol

It said during the tutorial for it that the clothes would auto swap back to regular clothes if you tried to leave town with them on, I'll have to double check lol

also it's nice to see there's apparently anti-softlock features, got stuck between a fence and object after jumping it with a chocobo and cloud was falling forever, after like 10 seconds it fixed itself so no reset required lol
