After you summon the moogle, you can use dodge to get off of it, move wherever you want and use triangle to mount him again. The moogle is the tanky one, so if you're getting beaten up just play as the cat, while mog gets attention (he also has weapon traits that increase his hate/enmity)

I mean I always figured there were multiple snakes because even if you killed one, more would chase you.

That was basically what we headcanon'd, but the snake is properly named in Rebirth, Midgardsomr, there's only one of those. It was a plot hole of sorts from the OG that they made sense of in some fashion in Rebirth, and I'm for it.

As for my complaint, I'm just arriving in Cosmo canyon and I've yet to 100% and cannot really be bothered to do regions since Corel. Getting around Corel and figuring out how to get to the elevation I need to was annoying, and then Gongaga has you mushroom bouncing around to get to places? The fuck man. Getting to the next spot started to get tedious, and I had wanted to get to lifespring 6 for a transmutor chip in Gongaga but I went to jump on a mushroom cause didn't know where to try to get to move to my last one and ended up where the next main story was so I just moved on lol

Also overall really not a fan of folio's. Just don't really seem too impressive, having to be in town/bench to reset feels meh. I'm sure these get maxed out if I stick around for endgame stuff but ehh, just not hitting too well for me so far. Also the differences in points is kinda silly. Sometimes you'll get max mp+3, sometimes you'll get SPEED+30, the fuck...

I mean how you want to compare MP to speed? MP is pretty scarce in this, 3 can make a difference

Eh, 30 Speed is a massive % buff to speed for every character (double for some of them), 3 mp is not. Once you have higher level spells 3 MP is nothing whereas 30 Speed is always making your ATB charge significantly faster especially when further buffed by Haste.

With Synergy materia MP also becomes significantly less useful as a stat

MP is scarce until you get the wonderful HP<==>MP Materia, then you can have a reserve party member with 6000+ MP to heal you inbetween battles, just don't forget to take it off if your party ends up splitting and you're forced to use them, going into battle with 100 or less HP isn't ideal.

There isn't one. Keep doing area completion and you'll find the minigame eventually

Prolly won't bother 100%ING some of them either. Least not until the PC version comes out, saving my hard mode/ng+/whatever it ends up being in this game for that.

They also said when Remake was released that a lot of the work on Rebirth was ahead of schedule but slowed by COVID obviously and scarcity of PS5 dev kits. Shouldn’t be an issue now so hopefully it’s not another four years for part 3.

I had 70 of them completed just over the course of my playthrough, most of them are from the minigames/bought in the gold saucer/dug up with chocobo’s, only really like, 10? are a bit of a grind to get, being conservative with that since your version of grind and mine likely aren’t the same lol

Edit - Also there’s a leveling exploit already out lol, went from 50-70 in a good 30 minutes, bonkers lol
