Yo I feel like an idiot but how in the fuck do I get to Cosmo Canyon itself? I have like 75% of the intel but cannot for the life of me find where to get up to the cliff? The elevator is conveniently out of order, I can't find the right glide spot I guess.
You don’t have to glide to get there. There’s a path a little bit to the north east of the first intel tower and chocobo ranch. There will literally be signs saying COSMO CANYON with an arrow pointing the way.
the cosmo canyon theme in the city proper was so goddamn good in this game, all of the variations on it
Looking back I made the same mistake in both Gongaga and Cosmo Canyon, the main quest literally leads you the direction you need to go, but I went and got distracted. Red XIII leads you along the path to Cosmo Canyon proper, but I got distracted by other things and totally forgot about that for a while, so I was temporarily lost lol
im starting to get concerned for what this ending is gonna look like with this zack stuff so far, just got back to nibleheim
Ugh another clash of clans mini game but this one without the nostalgia of Fort Condor. Bleh.
Instead of viewing the Aerith date, I just reloaded my previous save I made right before it. Turns out the one quest I didn't finish (Yuffie quest in Costa), unlocks a Tifa quest, and that Tifa quest let me get her as the date. Took a few hours overall, but 100% worth it.
I won round 1 & 2 first try. Once I got to round 3, I have no problem saying I looked up a guide for the first time playing this cause fuck that guesswork of builds. Once I did that it was simple. Queen's Blood is a game where I don't mind trial and error/experimenting with new builds because it's genuinely fun. The Cosmo Canyon mini game is trash.
Speaking of protorelic mini games, when can I continue the one in Corel? The goblin was like here give me your contact info but I'm already almost in chapter 11 and no clue when he's gonna resurface.
Yep, exactly, you will get to finish it in Chapter 12
was raging doing queens blood survival mode last night but got the win, thankfully broke 50 points when i won. all hail the Dio card
not looking forward to the eventual hard mode of it
yeah that survival mode is whoopin my ass
I made it to round 3 of survival mode in the lead and started without any rank 1 cards so I couldn’t do anything that entire round and I lost, I was PISSED
happened to me a couple times also where i ran out of cards i could play, for that reason i had to redo my deck to remove all 3* cards with 1* cards pretty much (with the exception of my boy dio)
chocobo rider dude that does +10 to a winning row also helped
Chapter 11 summon materia simulator battle:
Spoiler: show
This was inevitable. Wasn't surprised considering how sparse Distant Worlds concerts are this year. Arnie Roth at the helm

Unfortunately, there's a relatively easy cheese to it:
Cloud punisher mode counters. Literally just do that until they stagger and then repeat.
Are you guys talking about the survival mode that gives the Bahamut card? I just beat that tonight with 110 points so full rewards. I was at 110 points going into round 5, enemy had 15, and especially considering their deck, they didn't have a chance, lol. My advice would be to take advantage of the extra summon cards: half the main squad (Cait Sith, Cid, Vincent, etc. that each summon another card), Shiva is actually quite good, the moogle party thing that summons 2 cards on use, and try to save up and win round 4 hard because you're given a Shiva there. Basically round 1+3 are for deck building, 2 and 4 are for points. 5 is just...don't lose too bad. But since the enemy cards in round 5 are basically all enfeeble cards, they don't rack up a ton of points. My win was LARGELY from a giant round 4 grab, I cleared out almost all enemy cards (Yuffie FTW) and had the cactuar cards that give +2 ranks to surrounding tiles so I had most of the board clear but claimed for me.
