I love side content especially if they involve creative superbosses and overall good use of battle system. I usually do about 30-40% of them, finish the game, take a long break and get back to it after a year or so. Good excuse to re-visit the game and avoid fatigue.

When I got to the final part of this quest I almost said fuck it and never looked back, but I'm glad I saw it through.

That chocobo gliding game can get fucked though, no inverted controls is cancer.

Ya after my initial failure in the demo, the piano minigame has really grown on me. It even got me to buy Theatrhythm which is nowhere near as good lol

As wonderful as this game is, I still feel there are some missed opportunities:

1) Multiplayer chocobo racing and/or Queens Blood.
2) Co-op combat. Whether split screen or also multiplayer I would absolutely love to be able to play as someone else in my buddies campaign.

And they also could have expanded some of the minigames to have some sort of online leaderboard. See how many people do a perfect clear of Pirates Rampage, see how quickly someone can speedrun hard mode fort condor, and for that matter...multiplayer fort condor too.

I took like 5 days to digest the ending and I don't think I enjoyed this one quite as much as Remake. Chapter 14 didn't really hit for me.

That stupidly annoying Vincent fight that came out of nowhere. I get you want him to look like a badass, but to go from fairly idk "casual" on normal to like hey this just turned into DMC was jarring.

I'ma go check out the Golden Saucer and deal with this later. Only got 3 more days to play and I can't dick around with Jules the whole time

Overall I liked the game, but chapter 13/14 were the worst sections for me. I don't really like how they're doing things now. Preferred part 1 much more, except for the combat, which is better in part 2. I'm still going for platinum though. <,<
