Give me a piano dlc, and I will be so happy.

I would be so happy if they gave us DLC for bonus levels to all sorts of the minigames. Make it so what's base in the game works for platinum, but music is so good I can understand people wanting piano stuff, and Queen's Blood needs more for sure, even if they just make it more tournament like stuff.

I imagine they are probably gonna hold Yuffie and Cid themes until part 3. But I could see like, Cosmo Canyon, Gold Saucer, Costa del Sol, maybe Jenova themes being added as DLC

I'm trying to farm dark matter so doing the Aerith cactuar crush stuff, but how do you swap between her magic and physical basic attack? It feels like it's some sort of "mode" proc because light tap, slight hold and heavy hold seems to stick with me being in magic or physical form and being stuck in one is absolutely wrecking my chances at getting 4k. It'd be easy if I figured out that mechanic but I just don't get it?

After going thru reading people’s reactions to the endings it’s actually quite maddening to me how many people don’t understand what happened. I get not liking it because you just aren’t a fan of the direction they move the story, opinion and all that, but so many people just legit don’t know what happened and then trash it. I think they made things pretty explicit.

Sephiorth flat out says there are multiple worlds and they are merging and they make it a point to show you a different iteration of Stamp in every different world so you know you’ve shifted somewhere else.

I finally saw someone comment this on a video about it, and what was throwing me off is that after using Transcendence some times this wasn't true, so it hadn't clicked for me. But did a run following that and did manage the 4k for dark matter so good enough for me. Doubt I try for hard mode, but am slowly working on at least moving towards full clears on battles and such. Just need to...finish Cosmo protorelics...ugh.

Honestly not limited to FF7 here. Watching people be fucking confused about Starship Troopers/Helldivers lately has been an experience, too. The GOP's half-a-century destruction of the US education system is working, I guess.

Agreed 100 % Yeah I don't think it was "confusing" at all. It was more "this is needlessly convoluted for a Final Fantasy game lol." I wasn't scratching my head at what had just happened it was more. Why did they do this?

I have't read the community's feelings on it aside from here, but frankly I don't care that much. Norumra is a big dummy, but what can you do? The game itself is a banger.

I'd have a hard time blaming people for mentally checking out after things fell off a cliff. And I'm sure going forward there will be a large subsect of fans who plod along treating the game like ProZD does Kingdom Hearts.

Yes but most important:

The camera’s reverse setting is now applied when controlling a gliding Chocobo.
The camera’s reverse setting is now applied to the sharpshooting mini-game camera.

Maybe I can actually attempt the blasted thing now and finish it, more so the chocobo gliding, I didn't find the gallery mini game too hard (haven't tried the post game version yet though)

I feel like I would have noticed that as a "Invert Y-Axis" only player, but both seemed fine to me. Does camera reverse mean something else?

(Funny story, I invert Y Axis only because when I imported FF11 in Japanese it was inverted and I couldn't figure out how to fix it because I couldn't read the menus lol. 1000s of hours and it's been muscle memory ever since)

Nice, grats man. I've been watching Maximilian_dood playing the game and he's just before the final fight at 127 hours. He's done everything except hard mode (chapter and mini games) and some of the combat sim stuff.

Personally, I'm not sure if I want to go for it all. I would like party level 10 and I didn't mind the minigames in the playthrough but man I am not at all hyped to do the hard modes of them. I got all the dark matter stuff, just need the party exp stuff.

Got a question though, watching Max he did spell blade once and then Cloud got hasted from it. I rewatched and he did not cast haste from anyone, is that a special effect of spellblade, getting a random buff or some such thing...?

Synergy materia lets whatever spell/ability you link to it get cast automatically for free (both ATB and MP) whenever you use a Synergy Skill with that character. He will have had Haste linked to that on Aerith.
