Rebirth Demo out on Switch 2, covers 2 chapters, saves carry over.

I’ll definitely give the game a second play through on Switch, did the same on Remake and figured it aged well, and I appreciated it even more the second time around.

That said….45 GB lol. XIV will likely take close to 100, modern games really eat up the Switch space. Considering most don’t have physical w/ data my 256GB card is really struggling to keep up.

Gave the demo a quick go and the quality of the port is Cyberpunk Level...which is to say; one of the best Switch 2 ports so far. Remake was a great port but obviously less demanding than Rebirth, I was curious after developers alpha'd by saying it's gonna be awesome months before release. They double downed the alpha with such an early and long demo.

Manage your expectations (meaning don't expect PS5 or anything close to PS5 Pro Fidelity mode) and its a clear 10/10.

also my man you was right here dios mío even more side content in the back half of the game than the first. i cleared all the protrelic / world intel stuff and will hit the companion sidequests, but finna pass on doing every Chadley battle / chocobo race / Golden Saucer game / Johhny memorabilia business. maybe on a hard replay for 100%.
