Path tracing was just a tech showcase also at one point that also cut frames, how long did it take to become mainstream?.. Also its all part of dlss... I hear you and agree these are not mandatory at the moment but that was not my point. I was talking about player choice in the implentation of the tech which will never be up to the player. Simple misunderstanding.

Damn. That gameplay video really makes me want to play Rebirth just to catch up. And I absolutely despised Remake.

Although I’m not sure how to feel with the way they handled overworld travel on the Highwind. On the one hand it’s awesome they were able to incorporate it. On the other, the Fortnite style approach is… well….

Again I’m just glad we can travel and explore on the Highwind and it’s not some glorified fast travel menu lol
