the pre-orders for the PS5 version of the physical collectors editions are no longer available on the SE store, but I'd hardly call it sold out, could go to a retail store and try to pre-order, or they'll likely add more sales between now and release

Physical versions require a digital download to play. The entire game isn't on the discs this time. File size hasn't been confirmed for PS5 and XBOX, but the Switch 2 version is 130GB.

Good specs. running a 5090 FE with a 5k2k oled. (early adoption paid off this time, got at msrp) But.. with what I saw of the gameplay at pax today on the summoner fit, I think I might stick with PS5 to see how those summons play with it instead of having to wait to finish the game lol.

Yep whenever FF games come out I go pick them up at my nearby best buy. I got burned from amazon delivery when FF15 came out and the fucking shit didn't show up until 11 pm on release day. And then of course FF7 remake amazon got delayed due to covid. So never again lol

So now I pick them up morning of release day, take whatever days of the week remain off and have myself a nice FF release day/week

If you are basing your plan on the save related summons, I definitely wouldn't. It was a nothingburger in Rebirth.

Yea sure but the smn fit changes alot in terms of how they play. Also depends on how far into the game you have to get to use the smn fit. Still dunno lots of time to decide lol

looks like it gives you more options for making your summons attack, not sure if the skill options change based on your current summon though

From the Pax panel the summon you call will have coordinated attacks with you as well as having synergy attacks. In general the FIT system is actually pretty huge. They also showed Cid and Vincent gameplay mechanics a bit
