All committees dissolve at the end of the Congressional session. Permanent committees like Appropriations or House Intel will have each party's leadership seat members when the 118th reconvenes in January 2023.

The United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol will not automatically reconvene and it will be up to the House Speaker to remake the committee if they so wish.

So McCarthy if he becomes speaker will obviously make the United States House Select Committee on the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol whose purpose is to investigate the 1/6 committee. I am because at least things can remain stagnant or move slightly forward instead of falling backwards to the 1950's.
