Skyrim VR is basically unplayable without at least VRIK, HIGGS, and PLANCK. PLANCK being slightly more options but the first 2 literally make it an actual VR game and not just a first-person-camera mode. I have all 3 of those, a weather mod, a graphics mod, an Improved VR Combat mod so my attacks actually hit when my weapon does and arent still beholden to Skyrim base weapon "Delays", and I think a few others (Screwing over Maven in the Thief's Quest for one, thank you whomever).
There is a BR in VR, its called "Population One", and it just stopped update support for the Oculus 1, presumably because the hardware was holding it back from improving too much. Unfortunately, said PopOne, uses Fortnight building mechanics which lets be honest, should be removed and never looked back at. No one likes its, and ever has. Its also got pretty small lobbies if I remember, 5 or 6 teams of 3, but the gameplay is pretty tight as far as I've seen and been told. Using items, reloading, shooting, flying, climbing, etc all feel great.
Hopefully they're planning some kind of pseudo-2.0 update what with them not being constrained to the Quest 1, really try to wow people and get them playing, cause it kinda needs it.
VR is in kind of a catch-22 state where there arent a lot of people interested due to lack of good games and there arent a lot of good games cause theres not enough people to make development worth the money. But I absolutely feel it'll eventually take off, maybe it'll never be as popular as PC/Console but hopefully it takes off enough that some AAA games at least get to have VR "Ports".
