The money train has to keep chugging along. Choo-choo! $$$
Extra boosters = extra protection.

I was gonna get it in early Nov so I'd have max immunity for when things are at their worst during Thanksgiving/Christmas.
But, my company is ending vaccination time off at the end of the month, use it or lose it, so I put in to get Halloween off because the schedule.
Getting jabbed next Saturday, and considering when I got the booster jab back in December I had chills and sweats for two days after, it seems like a safe play.
Got the bivalent and flu double tap Friday at 4pm. I was on the couch from noon to 8pm yesterday feeling horrendous. Then at like 8:15 it was like nothing happened and I was fine.
If you have little ones be careful.

Around three-quarters of pediatric hospital beds are full. Hospitals are directing kids out of state and teaching parents how to administer care at home.
RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus which is talked about in that article) in particular is making a big comeback. I have seen a lot about it lately. It can be dangerous especially in todders that don't have much immunity yet and symptoms can appear within hours of infection.

Neighbor's newborn got it (probably when born) and is fighting to breathe.
Ugh being a parent in this anti-vax world of parents not protecting their kids from getting sick is really not fun.
My oldest boy and I got our bivalent boosters last night. Super sore arm today but not much else.

SARS and COVID-19 "variant-proof" protection
Note that "lasts ~4 months" means at minimum, not "only" - they checked for neutralizing antibodies at 118 days and published using that data, research ongoing
