I was gonna get it in early Nov so I'd have max immunity for when things are at their worst during Thanksgiving/Christmas.
But, my company is ending vaccination time off at the end of the month, use it or lose it, so I put in to get Halloween off because the schedule.

Getting jabbed next Saturday, and considering when I got the booster jab back in December I had chills and sweats for two days after, it seems like a safe play.

The state's covid supplemental leave was extended to the end of the year if you haven't used any of the 80 hours. It covers 40 hours for vaccination/recovery no questions asked.

RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus which is talked about in that article) in particular is making a big comeback. I have seen a lot about it lately. It can be dangerous especially in todders that don't have much immunity yet and symptoms can appear within hours of infection.
