Dormant viruses reactivating locally in the brain/spinal cord are crippling people. A pan-herpes vaccine would be a game-changer. 70% of children are infected by HHV-6 by the time they are 3 years old.

I regret not getting vaxxed up. Didn't get the flu but got a nasty respiratory virus that I'm still fighting a week later.

Usually I have symptoms for 3 days and then I'm good. Get vaxxed up if you're able to.

I got lucky. Flu & Booster at same time, and didn't really get hit too hard. First 2 Moderna shots for initial vax fucked me up for a day, and first booster was mild fatigue.

Yeah booster + flu shot laid me out. 4 days of every nerve in my body firing off. I was gulping down advil something fierce.

Yeah, got the bivalent booster and flu vaccine at the same time and it didn't phase me. I used it as an excuse to play videogames on a rainy Sunday instead of replacing light fixtures.
