As for me, soon as my pharmacy gets it I'm getting the jab. I go to cons and all and I do not want it..far as I know never had covid, been lucky enough to duck it and I want to continue to duck it.

I keep telling con goers in my area, "Either wear a mask if you're the least little bit sick or get the jab if it won't make you sick."

Good news is we have gotten real good at treating it over the last 3 years so you'll most likely have a short shitty experience rather than a life threatening one.

At this point I figure it boils down to minimizing the amount of people that get stuck with long Covid symptoms, although I've not kept up on whether or not the modern mutations of it are as prevalent with it vs. the earlier years.

Just called my pharmacy and they are getting the new booster in by next week. I'm right now asking my brother if we can swing by there to get me a flu shot (He doesn't believe in them but I don't want that nasty crud either) because I do not want to get both shots at once for pain reasons. Covid shots tend to make my arm hurt pretty bad for a few days; flu does not but still don't want to tease the tiger there! So want to at least have a week between shots.

Also I won't name the pharmacy since it is NOT a chain one; it's just a locally owned one and they were the ones that did covid shot events and stuff like that when the shot first came out.

Not specifically COVID related, but regarding a med that you almost definitely have bought if you had COVID. Phenylephrine in tablet form does absolutely nothing. Pharmaceuticals made nearly 2 billion in sales last year alone.
