If I have a really bad cold and my head is all stopped up I have to get pseudoephedrine. Nothing else I have ever found works. I don't like taking it because it makes me feel hot like I have a slight fever and I feel jittery. A small price to pay I guess to be able to take a breath without painting like a dog.

I have been wise to the phenylephrine game for years. It was super apparent when they removed pseudoephedrine from shelved cold meds years ago and hid it behind a counter.

There is now one fewer difference between DayQuil and NyQuil.

I took some on the last day of a cold and went out to a DNB electronic party that night. Kept drinking thinking I was still sober or nearly. Worst hangover of my life.

Welp. My pharmacy got the first batch of the Moderna booster today (100 doses); I found out by chance since my facebook didn't tell me (they post this stuff on facebook; I assume this was NOT my pharmacy's fault, prolly was a facebook glitch); had a minor goof on timing on one of my meds getting filled that I wasn't ready for and found out they had the vax.

..Well, me and 'Neko now have our boosters done, proly going to have a sore arm (again; covid shots do that to me) but here's to another year with no covid.

Someone at my pharmacy left the fridge, that contained all of the various vaccines (Covid/Flu/RSV/Shingles), open overnight on Friday destroying the entire stock. Face value loss of all of those were over $100k. Still haven't learned who it was.

Unrelated, one of my anti-vaxx coworkers is trying to push that the latest covid "wave" is thanks to big pharma. Why would we suddenly be getting new covid test kits and a new vaccine if they didn't manufacture the virus?

Yes, and no. That person does not have access to that part of the store. It mostly comes down to the perfect storm of a pharmacist who doesn't normally work at this location plus new hires who are within their first month of employment.

Ahhh, smells like retail. Even high end pharmacy retail is shit just like Michaels retail. Always assume they suck, cause they do in one important way or another.

All I can say is GEEZ, I hope that person got punished..tho far as I know, that didn't happen at the local mom n pop pharmacy at all. ^^

Anyway been feeling tiredish today so wondering if the covid shot finally bit me pretty good. So I'll take it easy for a while. ^^
