kids are kinda dumb though, when i was in highschool people walked out because they weren't allowed to wear raiders clothes anymore

If you actually follow what's going on in NYC, you'd see why they want this. They're crammed in auditoriums and gyms, 3-4x classes per teacher, if they really even have one. None of them are learning, they're just being kept off the streets while mommy and daddy work. Just send them home where it's safe at least and they're not getting into fights

At this point I'm pretty convinced there's no real good solution for children that's gonna be standardized especially with the way the U.S has handled the whole pandemic.

Seems either go to school and learn nothing or stay home and develop mental issues related to social anxiety and such.

Don't really seem to be a right answer that's gonna apply to everyone.

From what I see on social media, even prior to covid, I'm pretty sure these kids already have social anxiety from being buried in their phones all day long. Remote learning isnt helping any matters though.

But they're in school now and it isn't very productive. At least at certain NYC schools. It's not an easy solution to be sure...

From what I see on social media, even prior to covid, I'm pretty sure these kids already have social anxiety from being buried in their phones all day long. Remote learning isnt helping any matters though.

Seems like a question someone that practices psychiatry could answer.

Still no clue how I've never gotten Covid-19 yet but can get chronic allergies , bronchitis and strep throat by looking at someone.
Also considering I work in a jail in a Covid-19 unit, traveled to Florida Hawaii and SoCal numerous times since this all began.

I basically test every week, sometimes more depending on alleged exposure and a few times was pretty sure I had it but everything has come up negative.

all the places here(cvs/riteaid/walgreens) have signs out in front saying out of stock on covid tests and the testing places are all appt only but full for weeks. friend is driving to LA tomorrow just to get tested. i was actually going to buy a test while at cvs today cuz i had a sore throat but ya..
