If you actually follow what's going on in NYC, you'd see why they want this. They're crammed in auditoriums and gyms, 3-4x classes per teacher, if they really even have one. None of them are learning, they're just being kept off the streets while mommy and daddy work. Just send them home where it's safe at least and they're not getting into fights

This is happening more and more across the country it looks like. Teachers have finally had it and are quitting mid year and there are few substitutes (a lot of subs were retired teachers who were in it for extra cash, so once Covid hit a huge amount just went into full retirement). A lot of states are starting g to lower requirements to be a sub or teachers. There are colleges starting to shutdown their teacher certification programs because of low enrollments.

This is going to be a really, really, huge problem if people don’t start paying attention.

The Anit-Vaxx community is now using Bob Saget's death as fuel to push their message. During a December podcast, Saget described getting the booster and made a joke about getting it injected below his balls to get a BOOST. Anti-Vaxx has chopped the balls part of the joke from the audio clip and focus on what pain he said he was in.

One Telegram user with a history of sharing anti-vaccine conspiracy theories posted that podcast clip to their channel on Monday, adding a caption about Saget taking the booster shot with a teary-eyed emoji at the end. The clip was reshared by other conspiracy theorists on Telegram and has amassed over 19,000 views.

COVID conspiracy websites are running headlines like: “SHOCK As Legendary Actor Bob Saget ‘Dies Suddenly’ 1 Month After Receiving COVID Booster Shot.” Others, so certain it was a vaccine-related death, mocked the comedian: “Bob Saget Died Shortly After Bragging He Loved Taking Covid Shots” reads an Infowars headline.

Dozens upon dozens of videos tying Saget’s death to the vaccine have been uploaded to video sites with lax moderation rules, including Rumble and Bitchute. On Telegram, posts using his death to scare people from getting a booster have been shared countless times. More mainstream right-wing personalities have also chimed in. For example, Candace Owens, who has repeatedly peddled anti-COVID vaccine misinformation, tweeted shortly after Saget’s death, "Too many people are dying ‘suddenly and unexpectedly’ and the media is gaslighting the public by pretending it’s some sort of a conspiracy to point this out.”

Almost all of these posts, vlogs, and tweets use a video segment pulled from a December episode of Saget’s podcast, in which he discusses getting a booster. “Be careful out there, do what you have to do to be safe,” he says in the video, “I try not to preach, but I got my booster. I’m 65, so I got it and I was hurting.” At this point, some of the conspiracy theorists cut the video or, in the case of Infowars, stopped quoting the comedian, despite the remainder of his quote revealing how Saget is actually making a joke about his balls.

“I’ve been telling people I got it in my ass, but I got it right below my balls because I wanted them to get bigger,” he continues, a mischievous grin appearing on his face. “That’s a real booster, raises you an inch off your chair.”

Ya know I joke about Prop 65 warnings (lol California, Disneyland causes cancer, etc.) but our work entrances now have warning notices stating that entering the facility will lead to likely exposure to Covid. It's probably an LA county health department requirement since we have had nearly 30 employees report positive since Christmas.
