Used to get blood drawn once a month in my young teen years to watch for liver problems- you get used to it eventually.
I had to recently get cortisone shots injected into my lower back and THAT was something else. I watched the doctor get the needles ready and I still wasn't prepared for the "slight pressure" of a massive needle penetrating my ligaments.
I still have significant smell loss and a decent amount of congestion about 7 weeks post-infection but wouldn't really call that long covid. The congestion could just be due to low humidity though. I need to get some humidifiers.
Strangely they didn't include taste/smell among the study parameters
Swear everyone I've heard from that lost smell and taste from covid has said it didn't come back for quite some time.

Some of y'all cry babies complaining about needles should try giving birth without anesthesia.
