If you take the purpose of the convoy at face value and that it was truly about mandates and government overreach, it is kind of hilarious for it to end up with Trudeau going full Palpatine.

The convoy was never about mandates and govt overreach.

1-The convoy was first about truckers needing to be vaccinated to do their job. However, the major part of their job that was being blocked due to being unvaccinated was an inability to enter the USA. Protesting Trudeau has zero impact on Joe not letting unvaccinated Canadian truckers into his country.
2-So then it was about the mandates. All mandates are doled out at a provincial level. Protesting Trudeau wont change that, because the feds cant override provincial decisions. Theres a reason that the ON/QC NHL teams were playing in empty barns while MB/AB/BC teams were at half/full capacity. So this is a strike against protesting Trudeau over the mandates, and its also a strike that its about govt overreach.
3-Among the MOU were demands that the govt all resign and new persons of their choice be put in power. The leaders of these demands are all very right leaning people, some of which have various ties to actual white supremacy groups. Regardless, the entire process of "everyone resign and our people will take power" shits all over the democracy of our country.

I'm not gonna say she shouldnt be there protesting, but I dont think she should be on the front lines especially after the police gave TWO DAYS worth of warnings that stuff will be escalating if people dont clear out. That shit was over 99% white people, theres no way this shit lasts 3+ weeks if the protest caters to black or indigenous people, now do the cops give two days worth of notice that stuff will escalate if people dont clear out.
