Spitting & coughing into open air and wearing a mask in public shouldn’t be just be a Pandemic only thing. It’s a society thing and we all need to adapt to a new way of life.

So apparently a buncha Pfizer trial data was released and the anti-vax crowd on twitter is going "SEE, WE TOLD YOU SO!!!". Anybody got a tl;dr of what the data actually says or implies about the vaccine?

One of the things I read is they're misconstruing "stuff were looking for as potential side effects" to mean "confirmed side effects". Another was "look at the rate of adverse effects" by comparing confirmed cases (or confirmed fatalities, cant remember) to total cases, however total cases is not the number of injections done, the total cases value is based on the fraction of total injections that may have developed side effects. I dont remember what the numbers were, but they're comparing something like 1000 over 50,000, instead of 1000 over 1,000,000.

There's some weird things going on here.

Rewind two weeks: I got shoulder/arm pain again. Very similar to that zoster shit I got after my 2nd vaccination and to something similar, but weaker, I got after the booster in December.

So Moday last week I went to the doc, and she said it was just over-strained (do you call it a tennis-arm in english, too?). Got painkillers and written off sick for the week (and later extended by another week).

Tuesday, my gf got a headache, and since we were supposed to visit her brother later that week for his birthday, she did one of these DIY at-home antigen rapid tests. And whoops, light pink bar. Did another one, just to verify.

Now, this test result with that kind of test was consistently the same for 10 days now. My own tests however, are just blank, not even a shimmer of pink. Same tests, same lot.

GF did PCR tests twice, one last week Wednesday and one one Friday. Both Negative.

We're both triple vaxed with Biontech.

What the fuck is that test detecting? There's >5 samples positive not a single negative for my gf, and there's >5 samples negative for me.

We share the same living space, so covid transmission could not be prevented at home, especially if omicron is so easily transmissible.

Besides the headache, her symptoms are a snotty nose and fatigue, no fever, no coughing. My arm still hurts weirdly, if I keep it resting or not.

No PCR confirmation also makes this very odd.
