I'd trust PCR over antigen results.
I'd trust PCR over antigen results.
Rapid tests detect whether you have sufficiently high virus in your nose to detect by the test, which allegedly is more sensitive than the viral load that would be required to transmit it to another person. I'm not so sure that's actually true.
PCR is way more sensitive and would detect if you have a viral infection when your sample is collected, even if you are not contagious.
It could be that you've got a weird nose or are immune to COVID, but it's more likely that you got it first asymptomatically and gave it to your girlfriend. When she became symptomatic, you both tested but you had already cleared it back to levels undetectable by antigen tests.
There have been an estimated 140 million Covid-19 infections in the US, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates, even though only 74.3 million cases have been reported as of January 31.
The data comes from the CDC's nationwide antibody seroprevalence survey, in which it's working with state, local, academic and commercial partners to test blood samples for antibodies to the coronavirus triggered by infection, not by vaccination.
Your response suggests the opposite.

So Ontario has "revised" what they consider a covid fatality, and now all these anti-vax morons are ecstatic with their gotcha comments.
489 less deaths from over 12 thousand = HA SEE THEY LIEDUsing new methodology where deaths where a clear alternative cause, likely not in any way brought about by a COVID-19 infection are removed from the total, the province says it has suffered 12,149 deaths from COVID-19 since March 2020, down from the cumulative total of 12,638 people who died after testing positive for COVID-19 reported on Thursday.

So these people would still be alive had they not had COVID, but its not a COVID death apparently. However, there is a category between COVID being the cause of death and having nothing to do with it. Between 10-20% of Ontario’s deaths (depending on the wave) are classified as “deaths due to chronic or other pre-existing conditions that were exacerbated by COVID-19.” These are people who did not die of COVID, but their health was worsened by having had the virus.
i couldn't imagine arguing one way or the other over this
Remember the cold is just like Covid.

Shocker. Didnt they drop their mandates recently too?
but is it putting an unsustainable strain on their icus, that's honestly all that really matters. the vaccines would be doing their job if people aren't getting their ass kicked by it. we already know vaccines aren't really helping you from becoming infected with omicron
