Anti vax in a tough spot. See sinovax doesn’t work. But compared to others, better results.

Except he's right, so why would I dispute that? More people contracted COVID due to Omicron being able to cause illness regardless of vaccine status.
Hospital data indicates the overwhelming number of hospitalizations resulted from lack of full vaccination.
What does that mean?
The vaccine was effective. Period.
it astounds me i can share exactly the same point of view as everyone else and yet bg reads it with devil horns or something lol
i said exactly what kuro just posted, point for point, months ago and yall still seem to be mad at god knows what lol
Help me out BG.
One of my knuckleheads told me today that fauci and the NIH where he runs his campaign (my teeth hurt just from having to type this) said on Friday that anyone criticizing the vaccine could be considered an extremist and after this I had difficulty following what he was saying.
He's a real nice guy but is the most gullible, critical-thinking absent person you will ever meet. I looked and couldn't find anything even close to what he was saying.
Wtf is my pet jackass going on about this time?
Nothing. He's a fucking idiot.
This is going to fuck up global supply chains so bad...

Naw... most of those people live where they work. We good.

China doing COVID shutdowns is the closest thing I have ever experienced to an economic sanction.
S. Korea finally gets hit

It's Omicron, but it's hitting them harder.

293 deaths related to COVID-19 and 1,196 virus patients in serious or critical conditions — also a new high.
Officials said the medical response is still stable following efforts to expand resources, with more than 30% of intensive care units designated for COVID-19 treatment still available.
"We anticipate the number of (serious or critical cases) to grow to around 2,000. We are preparing our medical response for that,'' the senior Health Ministry official Park Hyang said during a briefing.
The latest figures come after health authorities significantly eased quarantine restrictions and border controls and stopped requiring adults to show proof of vaccination or negative tests when entering crowded spaces.
What vaccines were most prevalent in S Korea?
Only have data from January, but Pfizer

So anyone that ever bills medicare or medicaid must have their staff be vaccinated, and they have to be in compliance by next week? Doesn't affect me but there are a few coworkers I wouldn't mind losing over this...

Omicon's BA.2 variant expected to increases cases across the country within the next two weeks. This is the variant that's causing problems for the rest of the world.
https://www.who.int/news/item/22-02-...ublineage-ba.2The CDC says it's particularly a problem in New York and New Jersey, where 39% of the virus in circulation is BA.2.
It's also dominating new case worldwide, and some countries are facing a renewed surge of infects, just as they move to lift pandemic restrictions.
On Sunday in the New York City region, the positivity rate was at 0.96. It moved up to 1.23 on Monday and 1.28 on Tuesday.
In Manhattan, the positivity rate was at 1.33 percent on Sunday, 1.67 on Monday and 1.73 on Tuesday.
Based on available data of transmission, severity, reinfection, diagnostics, therapeutics and impacts of vaccines, the group reinforced that the BA.2 sublineage should continue to be considered a variant of concern and that it should remain classified as Omicron.
BA.2 differs from BA.1 in its genetic sequence, including some amino acid differences in the spike protein and other proteins. Studies have shown that BA.2 has a growth advantage over BA.1. Studies are ongoing to understand the reasons for this growth advantage, but initial data suggest that BA.2 appears inherently more transmissible than BA.1, which currently remains the most common Omicron sublineage reported.
Studies are evaluating the risk of reinfection with BA.2 compared to BA.1. Reinfection with BA.2 following infection with BA.1 has been documented, however, initial data from population-level reinfection studies suggest that infection with BA.1 provides strong protection against reinfection with BA.2, at least for the limited period for which data are available.
While reaching the above determination, the TAG-VE also looked at preliminary laboratory data from Japan generated using animal models without any immunity to SARS-CoV-2 which highlighted that BA.2 may cause more severe disease in hamsters compared to BA.1. They also considered real-world data on clinical severity from South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Denmark, where immunity from vaccination or natural infection is high: in this data, there was no reported difference in severity between BA.2 and BA.1.
Is it causing problems for the rest of the world, or just the rest of the world that declared “covid is over drop all the mandates its time to get back to normal”?
