It won't affect it that much. We had delays with our kids for various reasons. If you get a little behind it isn't a big deal. You can catch up later. (not a dr just a parent who had one kid who was a year behind due to COVID and another who was months behind because of a natural disaster that happened right around when he was supposed to go to a dr appointment).
Some of us are built from stronger stuff.

In the leg, interesting. Wonder how painful that is compared to in the arm (mine were both excruciatingly painful afterwards)
Leg is where all baby and toddler vaccinations are done, don't remember exactly when they switch to arm - age 4 or 5 maybe?
United Airlines telling me I need to give them a doctors note as to why I couldn't fly after exposure to COVID in order to get a refund...wtf.
It's United.
Also wtf
Southwest really is the best. So long as you're cool with future credit, you can cancel up till like 30 minutes before your flight

guess who tested positive for covid!
Spoiler: show
Lol
Lolled
But feel better AG. Throat lozenges and vitamin supplements did wonders for me. Wifey got the long covid cough, but I seem to have dodged it. Good luck young man.
While I'm at it, any of y'all got any long covid symptoms?

Has your wife taken Paxlovid or gotten a booster since she was infected?
I might but may also be recovering slowly.
I'm getting winded easier than I ever did before doing basic walking and rushing at work. Have random coughing fits due to that , I have two inhalers but try to use them when it's absolutely needed. I have reactive asthma as well. I'm also overweight stills obviously that impacts things somewhat, but I'm extremely active normally.
I've hiked 14 to 16 miles roundtrip,, and currently a flight of stairs at home is hard to do. It's also causing me to be much more tired and I already have a physically and mentally taxing job.

Yyuupp that's all long covid. My cardio is all whack too, some activity and I'm sweating and huffing hard, but other activity and I'm ok still. It's weird, but wifey has the long cough and that's just been no fun. It's been better the past couple of weeks, but it's still there and at first it was pretty consistent and worrisome. She's like 2 or 3 months out from her infection? Hope it doesn't last much longer...

Yeah, as someone who stays somewhat active (regular lifting at the gym; running 4 days, walks most) that's what worries me about long COVID. Put on some COVID weight like others, but those activities definitely give me some reprieve and stress relief from the nonsense at work.
Really hope they find some way to address that with you two, that sucks and I'm sorry.
Fwiw, I was about 5 months out from my booster I think when I got infected, wifey was 6ish months out. We both were waiting for an omicron booster as our second booster, but we caught the wild type first

I wonder how many on BG have not gotten COVID-19? My wife, myself and my kids have not gotten COVID-19, but all of our friends and family have had it. I've been tested numerous times and we have gotten double boosters.
