Seems like Omicron dont give a fuck about the booster lol

definitely not. literally everyone i know who has covid also had their booster
the battle of the vaccinated vs not vaccinated keeping others safe is completely irrelevant with this thing. being vaccinated only effects you directly
Irrelevant if it's still spreading to 2+ people even in the vaxed. Literally not enough research to know and it's not fair to say it helps when there's just as much possibility that it does nothing but keep your own symptoms in check. The uncertainty cuts both ways.
At this point the vaccine really is just for your own sake and health when the virus is spreading unchecked in all parts of the country.

Considering how fresh the boosters are, they should still be providing near-max protection for those who have gotten it, and right now it looks like the 2/2 and 2/2+B are getting fucked all the same.
Tested positive on Friday once symptoms were noticable, and by Monday I'm almost over it. Currently only have slight difficulty taking a deep breath, but they're very productive. My mucus secretions are less dark green and more yellow now, and no more chills or aches. I'd say this was the worst flu I ever had if I wasn't sure it was covid. I've also never had chills like that before, but it only hit once and I slept it away.
Another day or two and I think I'll be symptom free; when I'll stop coming up positive is anyone's guess.

And I'm sure if there was data on boostered people it would be even more protective against infection (and therefore transmission)
canada is one of the most vaxxed populations in the world and it's flying around here just as quickly as america. the vaccine seems to mostly be about not clogging up the hospitals, which is obviously a good thing
"Looks like Omicron doesnt give a shit about boosters"
Archi: "Look at this data of vaccinated vs unvaccinated...theres no data about boosters though"
THANKS BUD
Nah he's responding to the people acting like being vaxxed has 0 effect on the spread of omicron. Just because it's spreading fast doesn't mean it wouldn't be spreading even more if no one was vaxxed.
Unfortunately, that doesnt seem to be the case in Ontario. By total numbers, vaxed are taking up more hospital beds and ICU units compared to unvaxed. HOWEVER, if you broke that down to per 100,000 population, the numbers would look very different as over 80% of the eligible population here is 2/2
Id like to understand how much viral load small pox had vs Omicron Covid. Like, a small army vs a galactic civilization difference?
The problem is only compounded when rapid tests are frequently giving false negatives, and PCR tests are frequently taking 3+ days to be resulted. Doesn't matter if you're spreading it slower, unless you're voluntarily quarantining until your almost week old PCR test comes back then you're likely spreading it and contributing to the endemic.
But if you want a prize for spreading it less than an unvaxed, then
