I saw the new Washington logo. I am disappointed. I don't care about the name and stuff but that looks like they put zero effort in making it. No mascot or even a special symbol.
I get the feeling that the McCown hire will end up being v good for them. He is one of those eat, sleep, drink football guys that isn't in it for the money, doesn't need the money, and has locker-room respect.
But does any of that matter when the team is being run by Easterby?
going from literally zero coaching experience to an nfl head coach has disaster written all over it
Many thought the same for Steve Nash (yes I know, a different sport), but he's actually done very well.
Pardon my ignorance of basketball but I assume that’s mostly because NBA players have to play every aspect of the sport. Making it an easier transition versus the various different phases and schemes with twice as many people in football.
But that's also why the NFL has OC, DC, Oline, DLine, Special teams, secondary, etc. coaches.
The main coach can't necessarily get into all the weeds of all of that stuff, which is why you have all those assistants.
53 players, 16 practice squaders, 15 paid assistant coaches, and however many staffers.
shits just different man
Also steve nash was an all-time great and it makes it easier for stars to listen to them.

Daniel Luna, a restaurant owner from Oakland, remains hospitalized at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in what Inglewood police said was a medically induced coma.
Luna, 40, was discovered on the ground by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics in the stadium’s Lot L about 4 p.m., half an hour into the Rams-49ers contest, said Inglewood Police Lt. Geoffrey Meeks. Luna was wearing a San Francisco jersey and black pants, Meeks said.
Emergency room staff at Harbor-UCLA noted wounds suggesting Luna had been attacked and contacted Inglewood police later that night.
“They believe he suffered from an assault at the stadium to his upper body and facial area,” Meeks said. Detectives are working with stadium officials to determine what happened to Luna, he said.
