EDIT: Friend said we people go purchased the CE should get shipping info about the physical game today. If you don't get an email by Tuesday contact Nintendo.

So it seems clear that the Agnians are from XC2 and Kevesi from XC1 based on the races in each group. Thought it was also neat that their artes charge in the same method as the games. Fills up over time for Kevesi like in XC1 and fills up from auto attacks for Agnians like in XC2

I'm loving the class system.

Shaping up to be my favorite. 1's story holds a place in my heart but the game play has come pretty far since then. Will see though, I'm only lv.16. Doing my first playthrough on hard. Makes you account for things you otherwise could probably ignore. Accessories for x mob, tank and healer setups, etc.

13hrs in at chp 3 currently, mostly farming class levels etc in the desert area. I unlocked the first hero class and enjoying it right now, can't wait for the others. If they make a xeno 4 or even continue chronicles x(lemme dream) I hope they expand more on the class system. I feel like this is the way to do it regardless if they downsize the party limit in the next game.

Only got to the beginning of chapter 2 but I'm already loving it more than XC2. Story and characters are interesting. Long cutscenes that are actually good and keep me interested in the story. The tutorial was a little annoying as a long time RPG gamer. They walk you thru every little thing but that's really my only complaint ATM.

Yeah, 2 was Infamous for not being able to reread tutorials. They fixed it in this one and even added tutorial battles if you want to check mechanics and not just read about them

Just got to Chapter 4. This game is really good at bringing you into the world. Lotta cutscenes but the character building is top-notch. The amount of cutscenes with well choreographed combat even for minor quests has got me believing a lot of love went into this game. I look forward to seeing how it concludes.

ill see how it goes, but atm for me its probably the worst Xeno game

Voices are semi bad
Combat is meh for now (just unlocked the Class change so might get better)
Music is not really interesting atm, didn't get a strong theme like XC1 and XC2

Lets hope the story gets better too

Eunie and the big baddies have the best VAs of the game imo.

Problem with the class system is I'm never playing what I want. Don't really care, but would enjoy if I were playing what I want instead of stacking points to expand the repertoire. Probably could've done that on easy/normal but hard doesn't let you get by without it.

Switching to easy mode and farming 10+ lvl and NM mobs higher than you is one of the best ways to grind. Still chp3 and I'm almost lvl 40 with multiple hero classes unlocked. Just remember to chain attack an NM near it's death for the overkill exp % bonus. Bonus exp from skirmishes is the way to go also, you can let the fight reset by going back later to farm it for coins too. I'm having more fun with this game than I thought.

I've just started chapter 3 not long ago and I'm having a blast. My only complaint until now is some mechanics shouldn't take so long to unlock, like the class system.
Music is very enjoyable, sure, the field themes don't hit as hard as the ones from previous games, but I think that's ok, playing 2 I actually felt some of those were too strong at times. And battle themes are great, I could spam chain attack just to listen to that beat.

Man this desert is fucking gigantic. The completionist in me wants to run all around mapping it but doesn't seem worth it? Maybe I'll come back when I can move faster

True, but once you can use hero characters and Ouroboros orders you can do pretty crazy things with them and quickly kill stronger enemies

Still don't have Ouroboros orders. 35 atm and just went into the desert. Stuff is tanky as shit on hard. Mr B was a 25 minute fight at matching level, but he's the worst of it so far.

I was starting to outlevel the story for doing all the side stuff, so I'm back to that atm. I like getting to know each colony.
