Just finished Chapter 5 and holy shit they dropped a nuke. Guessing since I only have about 4 or so classes fully unlocked I'm going to get hit with a truckload of hero quests in the next chapter.

There are a ton of random pre-req normal sidequests you have to do to unlock a lot of the hero ascension quests. I didn't realize that and saved most my side quests until right before last boss. So I had a massive gauntlet to run through to unlock everything

Yeah. I meant I got the cap to 20 for 4 classes.

Only just got to the city and uncapped Lanz's starting class. Tried playing on hard at the start, but that was more tedious than it was fun. After the first 2 proper bosses I promptly switched to normal. Only just got to "the city." I have NOT had a single problem with healing yet, though all bosses past the first 2 have only ever been between 2 and 5 levels above me. Still haven't unlocked the ability to switch the character I'm controlling mid-combat (unless I haven't been paying attention). Between paying attention to my gear and crafting gems, the normal game has been a cakewalk (compared to hard). Toughest fight I had was with the boss fight in the castle which I failed once.
I should probably switch back to hard now since the difficulty at the start was the lack of features and flexibility.

You unlock the option to switch characters way at the beginning, so you must have missed the tutorial ^^;

If I'd been paying attention then those boss fights at the start would've been piss easy if I could have been switching them mid-combat.

I just learned a couple days ago you don't have to go in order for your chain attack. Feel mad dumb now.

I just checked my gems and holy crap I'm way behind and missing materials for some of them. I need to find a good guide for soul hacker/item locations.

Don't forget that you can skip gem levels. You DO NOT have to level them up in order

I wish we could use the - button to turn on auto battle even when it isn't enabled in options. I don't always want it on but sometime it'd be nice to turn on when I'm just farming

You can, but it doesn't work on bosses or UMs.

You can pay 10k to a nopon a bit north of the spot to change the weather. A point of interest appears during the quest to mark it.

Wow, really? Guess I was super lucky then because it worked every time for me. There's another quest that you'll have to pay a nopon or wait for weather change, as well, lol. That quest worked first try for me as well

Yeah there's a chance of failure. I'm not sure what the rate is though. First time I failed but the 2nd/3rd time I got rain.
