Just finished the final boss. Decided to use up all my bonus XP since I hardly touched it at that point and floored them without much trouble even when unoptimized. Overall a pretty good game and an upgrade in every except item gathering/exploration still feeling like a slog and worse than 2 because of how huge the areas are.

Also are there any hidden flags for some sidequests? A friend and me were stuck on upgrading the machine in Colony 30 where we never got the 6th phase or whatever phase it was when you befriend that one Noppon in the colony. I never saw any side quests or points of discussion before going into the final dungeon.

Some quests you need a specific hero in your party for it to show up, if that's what you mean. Or, yes, you need to complete sometimes unrelated quests for others to appear, if that's what you mean. For the mech upgrade in colony 30, I'm pretty sure both apply

I know they are used to raise colony affinity but some region I am 99/99 and I still find some so

99/99 is ether for hulks. And yeah, husks also give some affinity, but it's not really huge and I think husks can respawn, generally I wouldn't worry about them.

I genuinely don't know what you mean by husk 99/99? Where do you see this?

Only thing I know about husks is you send them off for affinity, don't see a counter

I think that's for Europe only because we never got the CE shipped.

The US Nintendo Store has a separate entry for the special edition items, without the game, just like Europe but it's been sold out.

Guessing for Soulhacker you have to have the character in your team to learn the abilities?

Also do you ahave to relearn the ability for every character or just once?

Once you learn it unlocks for all characters. But it HAS to be a main party member on the job when the UM dies. Triton alone will not learn skills

If you rank 20 the class you can also just set its ability to learn skills on any job
