Well, did first two levels of the gauntlet but then saw the last one has 140 stages and was like nope, not today, lol. Fun little content but Intermediate already dragged with 50 stages.

Worth getting the season pass at this point?

Probably a bit overleveled as it is since I just went off the beaten path a lot.

I'd say the main worth of the Season Pass will come from the story DLC anyway, but looking at it in general, I'd say it's actually better to get it while you're still playing the game. You'll get some new heroes to use and Time Trial/Gauntlet as a way to farm certain rare items. For someone that already had completed the game I'd just launch it to check out the DLC hero, play around a bit with the new class and then shut the game off again, because for me there's not much point in farming the new content, other than to unlock costumes.

DLC Heroes are OK, can definitely live without them though.

I'll second Gokulo, Xenoblade DLC stories don't disappoint that's where the real value lies. Torna had a full game content that even challenged the main game itself.

In part because of the stuff Demo mentions, but I freaking loved that DLC for the battle system.

You can honestly finish the timegate quest stuff without 1.5hr. You don't need to even do that many quests as you can just talk to people with a golden smiley above their head to add them to the chart. You can find them by looking at the chart too.

Only got about half-way through XC3 before putting it down (shortly after destroying the one bases canon), so while I picked up some of that trailer, I'm mostly lost at this point. I thought the merged worlds were long after XC1/2 so, not sure how Shulk/Rex are there. I suppose I'll have to watch the "movie" someday, if someone puts the story on Youtube.

Sure, it can be pretty confusing and I get why you'd be lost, but that's because it seems like you're trying to use regular timelines to piece together the convoluted mess that is the XC lore.

However, when you push that aside and go by a different measure, that's really all you need and it all makes sense.
