This is correct. There have stated 100+ times that the micro-transactions are 100% cosmetic. The reviews for it so far are absolutely fantastic. And some Russian dude has been leaking the alpha stuff for a montha and DAMN.

I feel like I've mentioned this story before on BG but anyways.

Years ago before a deployment we loaded up a bunch of people's laptops with Diablo 2 so we could LAN it up during the patrol. Like a week in one of the GMs (Gunners Mate for the unaware) was hearing us talk about it and thought it sounded stupid. I convinced him to give the game a try and threw it on his laptop.

3 months later when we got back home to Oakland he had developed carpal tunnel.

Had to find a stick in storage, knock off an inch of dust, and install SF4 to see if it even worked still lol. I haven't played a single match of SF since last in Japan 2018.

Is that the stupid paint splash thing? I've been using more as a counter. Played 3 games, so far game seems stable. Did have one connection drop which caused all buttons on my stick to cease outside of the joystick itself till I reconnected. Went 1-3 during my lunch break. Almost don't want to count the first loss due to the fact I didn't realize I had the default character selected as they don't really explain how to change between characters and modern/classic controls.

Ok, yeah I'm for sure trash tier. Think all the pros got off work when I did as I went from at least making things interesting to wow, I actually won one round.

This honestly doesn't feel nearly as good as the trailers/etc looked. Feels like SF5 with a ghetto focus attack.

The menu system/lobby is fucking atrocious.
