if he’s on the team that’s what he’s gonna get. his contract is up after next season so unless they want a lame duck situation/franchise tag afterwards, they’re gonna do something (and the franchise tag is gonna be around 40m with the recent inflation of qb contracts anyway)

if he plays well he’s gonna get paid. it’s a no excuse year for him playing behind a strong offensive line that led the nfl in rushing last year, was strong in pass protection, and now he has brown, smith, and goedert to throw to. last year was essentially his rookie year (started 4 games the year before as a rookie, but last year was a full year with a new offense/coach); hopefully he makes strides in being a better pure passer this year

if he does not play well, the eagles have two first round picks again next year.
