That math is really breaking my brain apart. I think it's just poorly worded, because those two stats can't be related.

1) Yankees are 21-3 when committing an error. Neat stat.
2) Average winning % of the teams involved in games where the Yankees commit an error is .405. Weird, borderline irrelevant stat that doesn't do much except maybe water down the other stat because they're playing bad teams.

I was always under the assumption players had the absolute final say where they went. To leave it at the whim of your agent seems absolutely nuts to me.

So new rumor is that his agent had a final offer from the Braves and he straight up didn't tell Freeman about it, and that's why he fired him. It only recently came to light over that series when he finally met with ownership
