gallo was on pace to have the worst batting average in history for a single season with 400ab/500ab, but mercifully he has fallen off pace since carpenter and others are getting more play time

he could still get there tho, he’s just over 200 at bats and batting .164

the 400 at-bat record is .155, and the 500 at-bat record is .179 (doubtful he gets to 500abs at this rate)
