I went into this series thinking the Kings had a chance mostly because the Oilers tend to choke but I was fine at least winning a game or 2.

Honestly at this point I dont care if we actually win the series, im very happy with what they have been able to do in the first playoff series for much of the team.

Ahead of schedule. The kids are doing alright.

To think the only players north of 30 on the playoff roster are - Kopitar (34), Brown(37), Edler(36), Quick(36). Put the line at 29 and you add Danault and Arvidsson.

On that note, I was predicting my crappy growing playoff beard would be gone by now. Alas, it continues to annoy me with masks mandated at work again (outbreak defined by the county health dept., 5 cases in the past 2 weeks)

Who's the Kings' next goalie after Quick?

Cal Petersen got extended for 3yr/15M. Both Petersen and Quick split time nearly evenly throughout the season. Surprised they haven't split time in the playoffs though with Cal only coming in during the blowout in game 3.

Yeah they split the season but Quick turned back the clock this year so likely wanted to give him one last run. Petersen is alright but im not 100% sold on him.
