There is at least one more film rumored to be the finale but Vin Diesel has been pitching to make one additional film to make this a three part finale

The third film might be the spin off around The Rock's character. Basically going to show what is going on at the same time as Fast X before the mid-credit scene to lead into how Hobbs rejoins the team at the start of Part 2.

Because of the Netflix movie Red, Jungle Cruise, and Black Adam did poorly alongside rumors of his upcoming Amazon Prime movie not looking good, studios don’t feel he can bring in money.

At least Jungle Cruise was good though. Never saw Black Adam or Red though.

Jungle Cruise was good but I think it got fucked over by COVID, I think it released very limited theatrically and was almost instantly on D+ and Blu-Ray.

Because all his recent movies have bombed pretty bad (especially Black Adam), he's clearly not the box office draw he once was.

Execs still thinking they can bank on a single actor with a shit script and somehow still make mega bank. Can't think off the top of my head any actor that would draw me to a theater for a movie just by name alone.

I'll watch pretty much anything Henry Cavill is in, no matter how bad it is (see : the Witcher)
