Damn. I also played a bit on PS5 over the weekend, no crashes there too, but the game did have some stutters here or there when playing, so optimization is definitely not that good on console

Been playing a bit more, not terrible, but also not that good. The combat doesn't feel fluid or fun. Many of the characters have very technical move sets which break up the flow of a battle. Also, this game is very unstable and crashes a lot. No rhyme or reason to the crashes as nearly any process will randomly cause it.

That's been my feel with it.

I went into Star Rail not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised.

This one.. I want to like it more, but I'm just kinda eh on it. Despite liking the vibe and aesthetic.

what turned me off is that most of the game is not combat but the tv shit.

I haven't had many technical problems with it other than the audio doing some weird screeching that persisted until I restarted it. I just don't care for the combat or TV systems, and the UI is a bit confusing. The story and visuals are fine though.

Her banner is the entire patch which is nice, we'll see if I end up deciding to go for her. I just got Lighter and his weapon, but I skipped Burnice and Yanagi who both seem like they were meant to be paired with Miyabi based on her kit and the leaks of her kit.

My two teams currently are Lighter, M1 Soldier-11, and Lucy, and then Caesar, Jane and Seth. I'm sorely lacking Ice/Electric coverage, but I also keep getting Nekomata mindscapes from the standard banner. Soldier 11 is M1 and Nekomata is M2, they're the only two standard banner characters I have lol. I just want a copy of Lyacon

I just came back recently because Miyabi was the character that had my interest peaked from day 1 and grabbed Yanagi in the last hours of her banner. Literally saw a reddit post say she's peak Miyabi teammate and immediately re downloaded the game haha.

And yeah, Hoyo is switching their big 3 games to have limited characters throughout whole patch

Currently running Yanagi, S-11, and Soukaku. Yanagi is my best built almost hitting 400 anomaly prof, Soukaku on extremely high atk, and S-11 has a pretty high crit rate/dmg. Skipped lighter but managed to accumulate 160 pulls rn for Miyabi.

Started playing on Burnice banner but didn’t get her sadly. My beta account was stacked and i guess i was thinking like a dumbass that i could keep my beta account with Ellen and Lycoan, so i was salty and gave the game a break.

Damn, Burnice is a good teammate for Yanagi.

I ended up getting Yanagi, saving for Miyabi.

I also have freaking M6 Billy who. . is actually fun to play.

But the big surprise on awesomeness?

Ben. He's great if you like the Royal Guard type.

My M6 currently is Nicole, she’s fun but i just love me Yanagi, every 4 attacks it’s like shock/disorder, feels amazing.

I didn't hate the TV mode, just felt like they never really knew what they wanted to do with it. For every truly interesting interaction with it, there was just too much hand holding for basic mechanics to the point of feeling like it was insulting. Hopefully one of the quality of life changes they bring soon will get rid of that awful "It's midnight you should probably go to sleep" cutscene that drags me out of whatever I'm farming so I have to navigate the menus again just for one more fight.

Main story was really good this patch, very curious where 2.0 will go.

I used up all the polychromes I had and lost my 50/50 on Soldier-11, which puts her at M2 now lol. Between standard and limited banners I've gotten 3 Soldier 11, 3 Nekomata, and two W-Engines. Can I please just get one copy of Lyacon?

Dunno if I'm going to try to snag Miyabi or wait for Evelyn. Miyabi is really cool though so I will probably fold and go for it towards the end of the patch.

Miyabi is a LOT of fun, I'll say that much.

I did lose the 50/50. Ended up with Rina. . which isn't awful since I have her W Engine.

Lost the 50/50 for Yanagi as well.

I lost the 50/50 for Koleda, but I do use her with Soldier 11 and have her W Engine too, so that's fine, got Miyabi on the 10 pull after that anyway, so all's good. Also got the W-Engine in like 20 pulls too, so I actually spent a lot less than I expected.

They already bailed on the model fading censorship they introduced with this patch, and we're getting more free polychrome as a result lol.

I let my roommates who have a ton of luck pull for me. 200 pulls, M2 Miyabi + weapon, and Koleda, 110 bangboo pulls, M2 bangboo.

That was a heck of a chapter, and finally a bow character I don't hate. Got Miyabi after losing Lighter's 50/50.

Since I lost Miyabi's 50/50 and I can't resist the urge to pull, I decided I would pull on Miyabi's weapon banner and if I managed to win her weapon, I'd use the rest of the polychrome this patch to get Miyabi. If I lost the 75/25 then at least I'd be completely set for Evelyn.

Well, I lost the 75/25 to my second copy of Hellfire Gears. But I also got Hailstorm Shrine in the same 10 pull. And mercifully it happened at around 50 pity.

I've now had double 5*s happen to me twice in ZZZ, which is more than it's happened to me in HSR and Genshin combined lol. That's also two weapon banner losses in a row so hopefully I don't get fucked trying for Evelyn's W-Engine.

I got a new video card, and kinda surprised how much better this game looks now after the upgrade. Granted, it was a GTX 1060 from ages ago vs a 4070 Ti Super.
